A recycled golf ball is one that we simply wash, clean and sort for sale.
A refinished, or refurbished, golf ball is one that we send to a factory that has been manufacturing golf balls for over 80 years in the U.S. to recondition the appearance. During this modern process, the golf ball is repainted and receives a new clearcoat to ensure a durable product and look just like new. A refinished golf ball will have no player markings or logos from previous players and will perform like new without any depreciation in performance.
We work with many premium golf courses across the country to retrieve lost golf balls. Some of these courses include PGA Tour sites.
We also buy golf balls from people who have collected thousands and need to get rid of them. If you’re local in the Houston, TX area, you can contact us about selling golf balls if you have at least 1,000 golf balls. Otherwise, the minimum to sell golf balls to us is 5,000.
With today’s technology, balls are manufactured with solid cores and it is very difficult for a golf ball to get waterlogged. Prior to 2000, a golf ball’s core was wound with rubber bands, and sometimes even a liquid core surrounded by rubber, which enabled a golf ball to become waterlogged.
