Details

TP5 just got even faster with a greater rebound effect and optimized spin rates. The TP5 features a Tri-Fast Core and Dual-Spin Cover made of urethane to maximize distance from the tee and spin on wedge shots. The 5-layer core allows performance to be exceptional with every club, while still having a soft feel. May include a mix of 2019 and 2021 models. PLEASE NOTE: This mixture will not contain a set percentage of each model.

THE TP5 DIFFERENCE

Compared to TP5x, TP5 offers lower compression, lower launch, and more wedge spin to help improve your short game—ultimately, TP5 provides a more workable golf ball with softer feel.

5-LAYER CONSTRUCTION

The key to achieving enhanced speed without negatively affecting spin performance comes from TaylorMade’s proprietary 5-layer ball construction. Including a Tri-Fast Core that delivers maximum carry and low drag and a Dual-Spin Cover that features an ultra-soft, highly durable cast urethane cover, TP5 offer complete tee-to-green performance without sacrifice.

SPEED-LAYER SYSTEM

The Speed-Layer System is comprised of four increasingly stiff layers to produce more ball speed. The result is more carry distance off the tee, more control in the wind, and more spin around the greens.

HIGH-FLEX MATERIAL (HFM)

TP5 feature a material called HFM—delivering for higher ball speed through a greater rebound effect. HFM acts like a tightly wound spring that builds energy and rebounds quickly, generating more ball speed.

I purchased the TP5 in “Mint” condition. While the majority of them do look great, unfortunately, there are several that are yellowing like they were underwater for a period of time. Not sure that qualifies as mint, but overall the goods ones do look good!

Supposed to be mint. Some are some aren’t. I've ordered twice from this company. First time good, second time average.
